LinkReach

A Chrome extension paired with a campaign dashboard and an API. Campaigns are defined in the dashboard, the extension executes them against LinkedIn and Sales Navigator from the browser, and the backend holds the queue, the pacing rules and the per-message status. The interesting problems were all in the queue rather than the automation.

The working parts

Each of these exists in the delivered system, not on a roadmap.

01

Queue with drip pacing

The backend refuses to release the next action until the campaign's delay has elapsed, so pacing is enforced server-side rather than hoped for in the client.

02

Reply detection

Before a scheduled follow-up is sent, the thread is checked for an incoming reply and the follow-up is cancelled if one is found.

03

Single-tab leader election

Only one open tab polls for work, elected through shared extension storage and released when that tab closes, so duplicate sends cannot happen.

04

Per-action status tracking

Every queued action resolves to sent or failed with a specific reason, surfaced as campaign-level counts.
